I was so excited to be able to take Jane to her first opera, Italian Girl in Algeres! This so happened to be my first opera too...many, many years ago. At first she didn't want to go because she thought we would be singing opera. She was more interested when she knew we were just watching it. And she really loved watching it!
How fun to take her to the same opera you saw first. And that's so sweet that she thought she was going to sing.
