Onward and Upward

Day 41 -- Teddy Loves The Photo Gear

The Old Clock Tower

The Cameron Clan Hertiage

Commenced at Clan Cameron's 2001 International Gathering, this "living" cairn contains stones contributed by clansfolk from throughout the world. Many stones were engraved prior to their donation, most especially by the various branches of the Clan Cameron Association. It contains a time capsule, with keepsakes of the early twenty-first century. The Cameron Clan Museum is in Achnacarry, UK

My creepy little friend...

Friend is probably not a good word for this little guy. Especially since he didn't survive long after I took the shoot.

Union Trust Steakhouse

This is the restaurant where Canon took us to dinner on Wednesday night. It was originally a bank, later a jewelry store, and now the Union Trust Steakhouse. I would have taken a picture of the seared salmon I had to post on Thursday, but I thought that might be a little tacky since I was sitting at a table with the president and vice president of the company.
This photo was taken earlier during the cocktail reception. I had to find something to do while the other guests were putting away the free drinks.

Showing the Way

Morey had a great time playing with his cousins this week. One night, my nephew, who is 6 months older than Morey, was trying to show Morey how to climb the stairs. He started at the bottom with Morey, and then climbed up a few stairs. He turned and looked back and saw that Morey wasn't coming, so he came back down and put his arm around him like this. It was pretty sweet.

Chicken for dinner

This was our rosemary rubbed chicken with an orange-maple glaze we had for dinner last night. Sorry its late...

Day 40 -- Gas And Rain

On the road to Inveraray, Scotland, UK

This is from our trip to Disneyland a couple of years ago when Zack and I ate at the Blue Bayou. Very yummy.

Day 39 -- Little Seizures

My favorite part about this pizza is the silo of corn meal they coat the bottom of the crust with.  Yuck.  Thank you, Zack, for reminding me that it was food day.

Butterfly in Illinois

I chased this guy for 15 mins to get this shot...

Just Cruisin'

Apparently my niece has been very excited for Morey to visit. She talked about how they were going to Disneyland, and she was going to take him on Jungle Cruise and hold him on the ride. So, here they are.

Day 38 -- I Don't Mind The Rain On The Lens

I think it adds to the pic.  Drove around and took some rainy night HDRs tonight.  I'll post another tomorrow.  If it keeps raining I'll have to take a few more tomorrow night!

The Birthplace of Freedom

This is the Philadelphia Statehouse, also known as Independence Hall. It was in this room that the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.

This is what happens

Sorry Alex, this is what happens when you miss a couple days of posting on this blog.
Love ya,
Sister
